I personally have experienced the lack of support for Sound, Network and USB devices on 3 different versions of Vista (Enterprise, Ultimate & Business), I finally got it right the 3rd time on Business edition (thanks to lots of trial and error on getting the device driver from various places by Dave Watts our in house magician). I am still not successful on install the McAfee VirusScan Enterprise.
Another instance, where in I was upgrading Windows XP to Vista Ultimate, it rejected a bunch of software’s already installed and working on XP (Nero, virus scan are the one’s I quickly recollect).
