Power of working as a Group
Everyone wants to be part of a team / department where all feel respected, included, energized, and appreciated.
When you are a team / department leader and you manage others, it’s your responsibility to set the standard for behavior for the team / department.
Your lookout, and how you are comprehended, surpasses the moment.
Some good behavior tips when working in a group:
- If you are angry or upset, do not share your emotions publicly.
- Have a private conversation to express your concerns.
- Never be lowering oneself in front of others.
- Make everyone feel like a valued member of the team.
- There are no “bad” ideas, just not the “right” solution.
- Listen to everyone’s opinions.
- Be considerate for others and their feelings.
The power of a group comes from making everyone feel valued
